Meipi says goodbye

Meipi was born in 2007 and can be considered a pioneer platform in the context of the so-called web 2.0. It allowed non-expert users to create geoblogs freely.

For some years now, the website has stopped working and its repair requires time that we, the creators, no longer have.

So in 2022, after 15 years, we have decided to give a worthy closure to this adventure. We are doing this in a live streaming in which we will relive its history, its challenges and achievements. An opportunity to meet the community of more than 10,000 users for the last time.

You are invited to join the session and contribute with your story. Join and ask us the questions you’ve always wanted to.

On March 2, 2022 at 20h (UTC+1) we did an event that we broadcast live in which we talked about the Collaborative Spaces that Meipi contained. We participated the 6 people who formed the Meipi development team, and some other people who used it during the 15 years it was running.

Meipism!
