Massart Pizza
Great artesanal pizza, and great ambience. Simplistic and homey feel and ambience with a friendly (and english speaking) staff. Since I pass by this place everytime on the way back from work, I stop by for lunch once a while, and it's quite good! They offer a great student lunch menu, a persona... [Ampliar]

La Bicicleta
No this isn't a bike shop, its actually a cafe with bicicyle themed decor, and I gotta say, its pretty gosh darn cool. During the daytime, it is a quaint little coffee shop great for relaxing with friends or getting a bit of work done, and at night, its a lively bar with good drinks and a great... [Ampliar]

Burger King on the Outskirts
So this is it, this is the last part of (the southeast) the city before it gets to literally nothing in site. Walk past this barrier of an American fast food chain, and you will literally see empty streets with tumbleweed rolling around. This isn't a typical site to see, and definitely not one ... [Ampliar]

Body Factory
Yes, I know the name of the place sounds like some weird club or something, but rest assured that it's just the local gym I go to. I was surprised by the proximity of a gym to where I live, literally a 2 minute walk down the street from me, this is quite convenient. However, I must say that for... [Ampliar]

Since I pass by this place everytime on the way back from work, I stop by for lunch once a while, and it's quite good! They offer a great student lunch menu, a personal pizza (that's quite large) and a soft drink for under 10 Euros. It's not a New York slice, but this is some good pizza nonetheless.

Definitely worth a try if you're craving some good pizza.

But more importantly however, is the area it's located in. The area of Malasaña is akin to SoHo in NYC, filled with the young hipster looking locals and the cool little bars and shops that align the streets. Even the cobble stone roads remind me of SoHo! Definitely a cool area to check out.

Walk past this barrier of an American fast food chain, and you will literally see empty streets with tumbleweed rolling around. This isn't a typical site to see, and definitely not one of the picturesque plazas the Madrid Tourism Organization wants you to see, but this is definitely an interesting alternative site if you have a bit of time and nothing to do.

Delicious, delicious modern Spanish food inspired by the classic dishes in Madrid, this restaurant is definitely one of my favorite spots in Madrid. Although being hesitant to dine here since it's located in a pretty touristy spot, I was pleasantly surprised by the classy interior and the moderately priced cuisine. The pescado dish is delicious, and is definitely a modern dish inspired by classic Spanish food, using a sauce of pimientos and ali-oli. Come here to enjoy some modern Spanish cuisine.
