The redemption center is open from 9AM to 9PM on weekdays 9AM to 10PM on Saturdays and 12PM to 6PM on Sundays.  While we were there, we did not observe many people although we were told that more people come on the weekends.... [Extend]

Once the materials are sorted, each material is baled and sold on the commodities market. Approximately 70% of the processed materials are shipped to Asia; the rest remains in North America.  Glass stays the closest, ending up reprocessed into wine bottles in Franklin, MA.  Paper is the most prevalent material; there is roughly times more mixed paper than all other materials combined.
